Overview

GS is a federation of several Southern regionalist parties (founded in 2011), mainly Forza del Sud (Force of the South) and Io Sud (I the South); Noi Sud (We the South) at some point cooperated as well. GS was part of Berlusconi's alliance for the February 2013 elections and got two members elected to the Senato.
The flag is a "banner-of-arms" of the logo, i.e. a white field with (in top) the blue inscription GRANDE, and in base inscription SUD (violet/orange/light blue) [1,2]. Logo and flag are derived from the respective symbols of Forza del Sud.

During the February 2013 elections GS partly formed a joint list with another southern regionalist party, the MPA. They had their own logo, combining the logos of the two parties; sometimes also a white flag with this logo was shown [3,4].
